Here For You
Outreach Support
Our Outreach Program offers support to women leaving or experiencing domestic abuse. This program can be a source of short-term support as women seek information and make healthy choices. The focus is safety, connection to community resources, and information and education related to domestic abuse and breaking the cycle of violence.

Emergency Housing
We provide emergency housing through a secure rental building to ensure a safe place for healing that aids in preventing ongoing abuse. This service also provides the support needed for women and their families to put domestic violence behind them through the wrap-around support of our intensive case manager.

The Big Vision
Our current programs work to support the immediate needs of women and their children today. Looking to the future, we know that a long-term sustainable solution to end domestic violence is required in Cochrane and surrounding areas. To this end, we continue to make progress and work towards:
-
A safe place for women with or without children to stay when leaving domestic violence
-
Growing outreach support services for women and children living with or leaving, domestic violence.
-
Improving our advocacy, referrals, and systems navigation including trauma-informed individualized support for women and children
-
Increasing education, leadership and training on issues related to violence and abuse and against women and children.
Thanks to the tremendous support of the community and our partners, we continue to take steps forward to bring this big vision to life.
